Summertime officially begins
The very moment school ends.
For some, it takes a trip to the beach
To help bring summer into reach
Some people choose the mountain air
And spend their summer, camping there.
The place I find to be "most cool"
Is in my back yard, floating in my pool.
I don't have to travel a world away
To enjoy the sun of a summer's day.
Tons of memories for us to share
As we spent our days splashing back there,
In our back yard pool.
