Here and There
Sometimes I feel as though my life is like that in a Dr. Seuss book. Running here, running there, running, running everywhere! I think I'm busier as a grandmother than I was as a mother! But, you know, I wouldn't have it any other way! I'm thankful for the energy and not the lack of. I'm thankful I'm able to care for instead of receiving care. I'm thankful I'm able to drive instead of being driven. I'm thankful I'm able to visit instead of needing to be visited. When you look at the flip side of things, it makes you look at everything a bit differently. Thank you, Lord, for all your blessings!

My cup overflows, again!
There are so many things to be thankful for in my life. First and foremost, I am thankful for our risen Savior. I have been married for almost 29 years to a remarkable man. Out of those 29 years came two children, Brynn and Jack; a son-in-law, Jody, a daughter-in-law, Terri Leigh and Brynn and Jody's children, Will and Ella, our grandchildren. We also have 2 granddogs: Kelsey (Jack's) and Woody (Will's and Ella's). This past Saturday, April 3, we had them all at home, around the table, enjoying a meal together. We have been blessed with a wonderful, christian family. As I sat at the table and looked around at our children, their spouses and the grandchildren, I realized that we are the richest people I know. My cup runneth over!
